Dr. Ramirez has 40+ years of clinical experience and founding physician of AFM.

Dr. Ramirez, originally from the beautiful country of Colombia, initially studied the intricate craft of jewelry making before making the significant decision to move to the United States in order to pursue a career in medicine. He successfully completed his family medicine residency in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Ramirez has a strong focus on preventative care and ardently believes in the importance of health education and the power of teamwork in medical treatment. His diverse skills include gynecological care, preventative medicine, pediatrics, essential health screenings, geriatrics, and various non-invasive surgical procedures.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dr. Ramirez enjoys the fulfilling activities of crafting jewelry, immersing himself in reading about history and philosophy, taking leisurely long walks, and cherishing quality time with his three beloved grandkids.
